Dear Mr. Lepski:
A new labor contract was successfully concluded with the employees at our
Gallipolis Ferry, WV facility. You had been alerted that should the company fail to reach an agreement with the union, we intended to operate the plant and that you would be asked to continue service during the work
stoppage.
We are very appreciative of your pledge of service and know that you are as happy as we are that a strike did not take place. The new arrangement will run for five (5) years beginning September 1, 2002.
Your pledge of service during an adverse time has again confirmed our confidence in selecting your company as one of our preferred carriers. Many thanks for fine offer of cooperation.
Yours truly,
Alan D. Wiener
